This super easy dish goes with brown rice and miso soup!

You need:

  • 1 can of beans (that has been fermented for 24 hours) How?
  • 100g Hijiki
  • 1 lb. organic ground beef (fried tofu for vegetarian option)
  • 1 medium carrot, shredded
  • 1 cup broth (Japanese dashi soup base is preferred but anything goes)
  • Ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp organic sugar (optional)
  • Soy sauce to taste
  • Cooking oil

How to make:

  1. Prepare Hijiki according to its package and set aside
  2. Heat oil and cook beef until brown
  3. Add grated ginger
  4. Add shredded carrot
  5. Add Hijiki and cook for a few minutes
  6. Add sugar (optional)
  7. Pour broth and cook for few minutes
  8. Add rinsed beans
  9. Soy sauce to taste
